In Case of Credit Card Theft: If your card has been stolen or is lost, you will have to block your card immediately. This can be done by:
- Calling customer care on 1800 180 8282 or (pre-fix STD code) 39 02 34 56. You can also call the number 1860 500 8282 in case of any query.
- Logging on to tatacard.com and blocking your card by selecting the ‘Block Lost/Stolen Card’ option.
- Typing BLOCK last 4 digits of your card and sending it to 567691 from your registered mobile number.
In Case of Your Card Being Blocked: If your card has been blocked by accident or you have found your card that you thought was missing, call customer care to see if you can unblock your credit card. If you receive an SMS stating that your card has been blocked, please call the number mentioned in the SMS as soon as possible to learn why it has been blocked and how you can unblock it.
In Case Your Card is Declined During an Online Transaction: If your card has been declined while making a transaction online, first check if all the details have been entered correctly. This should include the OTP that has been sent to your registered mobile number. If you find that all the details have been entered correctly, contact the customer care helpline immediately.
