Lakshmi Vilas Bank Grievance Redressal Procedure

Lakshmi Vilas Bank aims to provide good customer service to all its customers and hence keeps a strict grievance redressal policy in place. This is overseen by several high-ranking officials in the bank to make sure all the queries and complaints of the customers are answered and given solutions.

The first level of the bank’s grievance redressal procedure starts with the customer care department which is can be contacted by either through the toll-free number or the e-mail IDs mentioned.

If you do not receive a reply which is satisfactory, you can then contact the branch manager of the bank.

Level 1:

The first level of grievance redressal after contacting the customer care of the bank shall be the branch manager. If you do not receive a solution to your problem or a satisfactory answer to your query or complaint within 5 days from the date of complaint, it will be transferred to the branch manager. You can get in touch with the branch manager of the bank by calling the bank or sending an e-mail to the bank. If you are not able to contact the bank via phone or e-mail, you can visit the branch as well.

For your grievance to be redressed by the bank, the branch manager will get back to you through phone or e-mail within 10 days from the date of complaint. If not, it will be transferred to the second level of the grievance redressal procedure.

Level 2:

If the branch manager is unable to resolve your query within 10 days, it will be transferred to the Regional Office of the bank where it will be addressed by the Regional Head of Lakshmi Vilas Bank.

If your query is not resolved to your satisfaction within 15 days, it will be assigned to the Assistant General Manager.

Level 3:

After 15 days, if the issue is not resolved, the Assistance General Manager of the bank will be taking the responsibility of addressing the complaint or query. The AGM can take up to 10 days to get back to you with a response or a solution to your complaint.

At the end of 25 days from the date of complaint registration, if you do not receive a solution or if the response is not satisfactory, the complaint is escalated to the Executive Director or the Managing Director for redressal.

Level 4

The final level of the grievance redressal procedure is when the complaint is not successfully addressed by the Managing Director, Executive Director or the Assistance General Manager of the bank. If that happens, your query is assigned to the Banking Ombudsman who is appointed by the Reserve Bank of India. The Ombudsman will provide you with a solution within 15 days.

The entire procedure will be communicated via SMS or e-mail alerts and you can track your complaint with the reference number which will be provided to you.
